Mozambique is a beautiful country that is bordered by Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west, and Swaziland and South Africa to the southwest.
Mozambique claimed independence in 1975, where it had been colonized by the Portuguese. Maputo is the capital in Mozambique and there are 10 provinces, where the official language spoken is Portuguese. Mozambique has a tropical climate with the dry, cooler season starting from May to October and the wet, hot winter season from November to April.
Mozambique’s currency is the Mozambican metical (MZN). Mozambique is still in its infancy in terms of photographic shoots. All equipment would need to be flown in and a lead time of 2 weeks is needed for shoot permit permissions.
